Hi to all, I recieved my ITA, now i started to gather all the documents,
i have a problem with my employer who is relutant to give me a detailed job scope description.
his letter is just in brief saying iam in his company working as fitter carrying out maintenace job. i am fitter in Mechanical Maintainance
will this have an impact at my assesment.guys with similar experinace please advice thanks

They want paperwork to support the claims you've made in your EOI. Neither they nor you have any control over an employer who won't play ball, and it takes a very generous employer to give full support to an employee they will lose. I'm sure there's many that have got into NZ before you that couldn't even get a job description from their boss and had to rely on wage slips to confirm employment.

Some job titles are ambiguous (sp?) and hence job description is required. 'Fitter carrying out maintenance jobs' is fairly descriptive, but you can also put in a supporting document stating, for example what plant you worked on, if you think that will help. Think of the NZIS clerk sitting at a desk. If the first bit of paper doesn't fully tick the box give him another bit that will, even if you wrote it!
