Need help urgently

Many thanks to hughj for the reply to my first post. Have read taffy's reply to lesjohn about truck driving, truck driving is on the list of "Immediate Skill Shortages", but don't know if that qualifies it as skilled employment, please advise. If not, what can anyone advise as I am really struggling to get points, (my situation is outlined in "New to this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"), would it be worth trying to get a qualification in say IT support even though I would not have work experience in that field.

As far as I understand it, if you can't get enough points your only option it to get a work permit, move there, get a job, then apply for residency as already being in the country and having a job will go very much in your favour.
