Need a job to get a visa, but need a visa to get a job.... Aaagh!!!!
Any solutions?

Are you wanting to out permanently? or just for a working holiday.
If going permanently apply for residency and then get a job when you are out there. If you have residency you don't need a visa or work permit.

Need to know a little more about your situation in order to help. :icon_confused: Do you have a degree or a trade? Is your occupation on the POL or OSL?

Can you get 100 points on the EOI form? If so, Moggy is right and you should be able to get residency without a job offer!

Yes, have an MA in Education. Lecture in IT for Vocational Qualifications. Possible aid to employability? ::): Have 100 points on the online tester. Would prefer not to spend hard-earned on an agency - prefer the thought of sea and sails - mmmmm

:icon_cool: Yeah go for it now. The points are low at the moment and they may change in the future, so probably best to do it now if you are desperate to get out there.
