Hi Joey,

What kind of work are you looking for? A lot of these job sites are agencies/ linked to agencies. I didn't have any luck at all with finding employment with any sites or agencies. Better to look into companies that are involved in the work you do and get in contact by phone. Most Kiwi's seem to prefer the personal touch and don't like to deal with agents. Hope this helps!

Keep me posted.

Thanks for the reply Midder.

My job is in the construction industry with
a Bachelor's degree.

I paid around NZ$3,000 for membership fee
in order for them (Newjobz) to secure me a job
and consequently, apply me a work permit. The
contract stays for 120 days and is refundable anytime
you want or once nothing materialised at the expiration
of the Contract.

What is your thought on this.

Hi Joey,

That seems like a lot to pay for someone to sit and post your CV out. My husband is an Electrician and is currently looking for employment in NZ. We received our ITA yesterday and there are a couple of websites in the booklets for finding employment or companies who may have positions vacant. If you like, I can tell you some of them. Do you need registration to work? What Industry are you in? As I said before, the telephone is great for getting in contact and seeing where you stand. Even though employers aren't advertising for staff, they may know someone who is and put you in touch. Or they might even find something is available for you. Let me know if you need any sites to look on.

Here is a couple of starting points:

www.alljobs.co.nz
www.jobs-on-line.co.nz
www.nzherald.co.nz/employment

Hi Joey,
I know a few people who used NewJobz, and have given them very good reports. They are quite expensive though! And the money back guarantee is honoured too (so i'm told!)

Hope that helps
