Default Should I stay or should I go?

[quote:eb352c02f9="netchicken"]I seem to be meeting more and more americans recently here :) Any antiamerican sentiments I come across are focused on the politics not the people. [/quote:eb352c02f9]

Yeah, this is what I've experienced in NZ. Some of it Bush related, though he's a fairly recent thing. A lot of it's just the fact that the US is so big and throws it's weight around, tends to lead people to not like America. But Americans (not the stereotypical tourist that wants everything their way) are generally viewed in a good light.

I was actually trying to practice on a Kiwi accent (it ended up sounding like a bad cross between an Aussie and something from the US South) before coming over. I sure am glad Kiwis like the American accent :icon_cool: (I'm doing call centre work, and haven't had any negative issues with my accent).
