Whats going on? Have you all gone in to hiding? I cant believe how quiet things have been lately...

Some members who are Missing in Action:

DrumminJ - Last seen in USA, rumoured to have found his 'Precious' and disappeared into a cave to live... Where'd ya go??

Jamesthecarman - Went to south island, never to been seen or heard from again.. Possibly started a relationship with a flightless bird, namely the Kiwi, and is living on a remote spit off the south coast somewhere.

Nonie - Not been seen for over a month, possibly wandering confused in the congo, after filling out EOI application...

Not even Steve, Milliemoo, or the official forum one woman welcoming committee Lisa, have been very chatty lately...

Maybe I should change my deodorant :icon_cry:

Hi Taffy,
It's Xmas time !
Combine that with a general lack of anything on all the forums and the result is...........
I think quite a few are just waiting for their ITAs to arrive.

Recent good news is that 2x people have got PR without a job offer.
The latest with 120 points and not on the POL.

How are you getting on these days ?

hi im not quiet im scouring boards for any info as im feeling very sorry for myself (ahhhhhhhh) my hubby and daughter are on route to auckland as we speak and ive been left at home to sell house , but no joy over xmas period ... so my face is tripping me , i want some sunshine but best i can do is turn all lights on close me eyes and dream.. hope everyone has a good xmas lainy

Heh, lainy if you want sun, don't envy your family in NZ.
We arn't getting much either!!!!
This has been the most appalling summer so far that I can imagine, makes me want to pack up and move to warm brisbane, but its raining there....

The Alps behind Christchurch have a nice coating of snow, which would be nice in August, or September, but December!!!! No way!!

How true! Even here in the 'City of Sunshine' we've not seen any sun lately!

Steve, we're doing great thanks, still nothing on the job side, but thats looking up for after xmas... Still love it here!

Going back to UK over xmas, to have one last christmas in the cold :icon_eek: icon_exclaim.gif

Then its all head down, charge forward and find employment!

thnx everyone ... wouldnt even mind the snow .. im used to that. taffy did you wait for residency or just go down on a work visa thats what we are doing but hubby bought a return ticket as i have to apply for visa as i have a job and at the moment he doesnt ... just wondering what best way of doing things is me apply for visa or him appling for permit lainy

I'm still here too Taffy!
Have been busy sulking over how headhunters don't respond to any form of communication. I have even placed LOOONGGG distance calls from the US to Auckland and talked with an underling to the guy who was supposed to be my case worker... not even an e-mail from the guy saying "Sorry I missed your call."

Tell me why the leads all dry up.

Haven't seen any status change in over 2 months on my EOI either.

I'm not MIA... I'm in "Lurk mode!"

Hi Taffy,

Sorry.... I'm still here. Just started posting again with all the happenings with EOIs today. Our points went up by 10 to 125 but it still says selected.

Frodo proposed a couple of weeks ago, so what with Christmas (which I'm hosting!) and looking at possible venues, it's all been a bit mad .....but exciting!

Hoping that they'll be lots of chat in the New Year.....keeping my fingers crossed for everyone.
