Anyone received their ITA?

Hi,

Our EOI was selected on 1st September (105 points, no job offer) and we received notice that NZIS would offer an ITA about two weeks later. I don't know whether to be concerned or not, but.... we haven't heard any paper work and our Update status has been reset to 'Selected'.

I know the NZIS London page says "[color=brown:b2e7277fac]EOIs drawn on 18 August (above 17,000) and 1 September (below 25,000) will be allocated in November"[/color:b2e7277fac] but we haven't heard a dickie bird.

Anyone got any ideas? :icon_question:

Yours might be delayed because you dont have a job offer. One or two others on here have had their status reset to selected. You have 2 choices really, sit tight and wait, or you could give them a call to see how your application is going.

Fingers crossed for you that you dont have an extended wait!

Hi Steve,

Yes, very quick indeed! We had our medicals done on the 25th of November (A bit of a gamble but seems to have paid off, the next available appointment after that was in the middle of January!). We have sent away for our Police checks and we still need to have my wife's qualifications fully assessed (Still waiting for empolyers and exam board to send things through!).

So we are well on the way to getting the information up together, but we are still waiting on other people!

Panic over... the paperwork arrived this morning!

Our EOI number is 5*** - we applied when the new scheme went live back in January/February. We gave up all hope when the first selections were made at 185 points and wrote a letter asking for our money back on the grounds that the pool mark of 100 was misleading and unfair!

Fortunately, said letter is still in the envelope on my desk and those very nice people at the NZIS extended the time our application was allowed to remain in the pool.
