Interviews for those without job offers

Hi,

Just read on another forum about someone having an interview with NZIS becasue they don't have a job offer.

It can be done over the phone and is just a few simple questions like how do you plan to get a job, do you know anyone there, what are your plans etc.

Phew.... I thought we were going to have to go all the way to London.

We won't be out for a visit till this time next year...boo hiss. Hopefully by that time the exchange rate will be better :icon_biggrin:

It's getting really cold here now and soooooooo dark. Oh I wish it was summer, but a NZ summer not a Scottish 'summer'.

It will be interesting to see if we get our ITA this month as indicated by the NZIS. I don't think we will though. I haven't heard anone from our batch receiving them yet.

We're hoping that the exchange rate picks up too - it's pretty crap at the mo, eh!

The weather's certainly getting better here - there's even been no wind here for 2 days - and this is Welly we're talking about so it's great! I do admire you with those scottish summers... :icon_eek: icon_exclaim.gif I'm sure I'd die of cold!

Keep us posted on when you get your ITA - we were picked out the pool on the 15th - the next draw after you so it'd be interesting to know when you get you pack.

I like one of two options:
1) A formality and we get residency
2) A face to face interview so I can show them my paperwork and try to convince them to give us residency.

The worst option is a phone interview and just a work visa.

It's about time someone posted about their interview.
