I heartily recommend...

Hey everybody,

I am a bit of a bookworm and just thought I'd recommend some NZ related books. Recently I have read Polly Evans Kiwis Might Fly and found it to be a really good read. Give it a whirl. Obviously there is Mr Goddards book which I read from cover to cover in just a few short hours - A New Life in New Zealand. And I have also just bought and started to read A Land of Two Halves by Joe Bennet. So far so good.

Just thought you might like to know. So there.

If I can't live there just yet, I'll live through these books! Has anyone else got any recommendations?

Oh and a new Lonely Planet New Zealand has just come out too...Have a look here for it on Amazon ;o)

Hi, I can thoroughly recommend Slipping into paradise-why I live in New Zealand by Jeffrey Masson. He loves the country for exactly the same reasons as I do :))

Just received our ITA - this book will be savoured and used to spur me on when faced with all the problems that have to be overcome on the long road to PR.

Weve just bought 'Work and Live in New Zealand'. Loads of general info about the health system, schools and education, driving, mortgages, insurance.
We found it really helpful for the mundane everyday stuff you need to know, away from the pretty pictures etc. ::):
