Webcams

I'm trying to install a webcam - as I've been told that prospective employers may wish to interview by video conferencing.
Do any of you have / use webcam :icon_question: it would be nice to test out the system - before a job interview?

Also any tips on best way to do it :icon_question: (web cam that is!) would be greatly appreciated

I'm almost a complete computer illiterate!

Have got the camera - realise I also need a microphone :icon_redface: :icon_confused:

Have signed up to MSN messenger 6.2 - but it won't verify my e-mail account yet - I need to try again later.

I'll e-mail and let you know when (if!) I get it all together.

We set our parents up with webcams and they've loved using them so far - we had regular webcams with them when we first got here. But now for some reason it's stopped working - think it's to do with our internet connection cos the sound and picture keep breaking up. They're all on broadband so it must be our dial up connection this end.

It's a good way to ease the worry (for them!) about us being so far away and not seeing us for ages!

If we can help in any way, give me a shout.

Has anyone ever hear of Typhoon Websot II? We bought one this evening for ?19.99 and I'm a bit sceptical that it will work properly. Can I use someone as a guinea pig when we get it installed? Please.
