Hello all...

My name is Neal and I had the pleasure of spending 3 weeks in NZ this last June/July. I enjoyed my experience so much that I came home and told my wife I wanted to move to NZ. Checking the immigration site, I'm left wondering if this is a real possibility. Does anyone know if NZ will hire teachers (middle or upper, social studies?) I have been teaching 10 years and my wife is a project manager for a construction company. I checked my points (130). Any information on teaching or how to get started would be appreciated.

Hi Neal,

A good starting point is to fill in the EOI online and submit it. I am sure you are aware that the selection point level is currently at 100 and with 130 you would be selected at the next selection in two weeks time.

Good luck with the EOI it can be quite draining to complete!!!!

Hi Neal,

I think you would be snapped up straight away! Teaching [b:8236bb695a]and [/b:8236bb695a]Project Management are on the Priority Occupations List so I don't think you would have a problem.
