preferred doctors for medicals

sorry me again

I've just been on the embassy website to try and find the list of hospitals/doctors who they like you to use for your medicals and X-ray but I can't find it. I know it's on there as I've came across it before.

Can anyone help?

It's on the NZIS website. Go to the skilled migrant page - the list of Panel Doctors is listed in the toolbox on the right of the screen

Just a quick note - if you're in NZ and needing to get you medicals done, you can go to any doctor cos they're all registered/preferred doctors.

Just so that you don't try searching the panel doctor list for ages and being stumped as to why no NZ docs were on there! :icon_rolleyes: (It was late at night when I did this, and maybe after a glass of wine or 2....!!)

What is the price of medicals over there?

Im thinking maybe we could get them done whilst on our jolly if they are alot cheaper.

I don't know how much the medicals are yet - we're hoping to get them done in the next few weeks so I'll let you know.

This may be a basic question, but does anyone know how long a medical is valid for after it has been done? Also, is it cheaper to have it done in the UK or NZ? And finally (Sorry!), is there anything specific on a medical that can completely mess up an application?
