Non Specified occupation

Hi I have many years experience as an Independent Financial Adviser in the UK. Would I be able to use my experience and qualifications to apply for immigration. I have the full Financial Planning Certificate and CMap Certificate for mortgage sales. I am aged 36 and married without children.

Hi Alan,
Have you checked the Priority Occupations list? I dont think we've ever had a finance person on before, so dont really know the score with financial qualifications. It may be worth checking the list of acceptable qualifications to see if they feature on there.

You can find these lists at http://www.immigration.govt.nz although be prepared for a bit of searching!
