Hi all

I hope you can help. I have been offered a job and qualify with 135 points, however I do not receive my Diploma certificate until Nov and this relates to my job offer.

What I'd like to know is, if I put in a EOI and it was accepted how long do you have to show them all the other documentation, like my diploma certificate, police checks etc. If it takes a few months then it dosen't matter that I don't have my certificate yet, does it? If they do want proof of my diploma striaght away would they accept a letter from my college to say I have qualified?

I'm sure your'll all understand that i'm hoping to take advantage of the low points at present.

Thank you

Regards

Lorraine

Hi Lorraine,
I'm sure I've seen somewhere that you have up to 4 months to present your documentation if your EOI is approved.

I'll double check this, but I'm sure someone else will have answered you by the time I find out!

Thanks for the reply, Taffy.

If it is four months then that would be great as I could submit my application now and present my diploma certificate in Nov/Dec when I get it.

I think it's excellent that the passmark has come down for so many people on this site. When I looked back in March, I thought it would never come down. Let's hope it stays low.

Have you been accepted. Taffy?

Speak soon

Lorraine

Sorry Taffy another question.

Would I also have to get my diploma pre assessed first before submitting my EOI or could I sort this out during the four month period with all the other documents. From what I have been told my diploma is recognised over there.

Thanks again

Lorraine

Hi Lorraine,

I havent even applied yet, need to get over there to finalise work and then apply.

Your qualification will need to be assessed by the NZQA. If your points rely on your qualification, then you are probably better off getting it checked as soon as possible.
