Default EOI Points Limit (Taff/Steve?)

Hi All

As some of you know I'm just below the magic 100 point, do any of you know if I'm allow to put in an EOI whilst on 90 point in the hope that they might give me more point for somthing I might have missed, or am I grasping at straws.
I've been in my trade for nearly 30 years, I've family in NZ, Ive a job offer, I'm taking my wife and three sons with me, when the house is sold I'll have enough money not to be a burden. Phewwww. :smiley18: I need a rest.

Thanks all and good luck

Bill

Bill,
You can't put in an EOI at 90 points, it will be refused. If your wife can also get some kind of skilled offer of employment, that will give you an extra 10 points, taking you to the passmark.

Your only other option would be to work in skilled employment in New Zealand for longer than 12 months, which would also add 10 points to your score. Only problem with that is the ever changing points!

Yes, quite.

BUT, you can fill in an EOI just in case they change the points system.
You can't submit/pay.

Then you are ready just in case.

Anyway, it's such good fun !
And, you'll discover all those little facts you need later.

Cheers

Steve

Thanks Steve

EOI already filled in on line, just waiting to submit it, if they do change the points system.

Good Luck with yours

Bill
