Milliemoo - can you copy the text that clarifies why I can't claim bonus points for qualification in future growth area? I've read back, but can't seem to find something that discusses that directly.

I guess I'll go back and un-check that. Since I'm editing it, should I add work experience relevant to my degree that was done while still in college? It seems that probably won't be considered, but I suppose it can't hurt. They'll look at the dates and figure it out, no?

Now I understand why some hire a person to do all this for them. And this is just the first form!

As to work experience in college, I don't think that counts..... I think it's only post degree. we didn't put Frodo's placement during Uni.

That quote refers to work experience, not qualification. There are three ways to qualify for bonus points for your qualification: growth area, skills shortage, and...uhh...that other thing.

I'm not trying to claim bonus points for any of my work experience.

Oh god....I can't even remeber what we did now!

Either way, it's a max 5 points for 1 or both....... maybe you should just leave your form how it is.

You'll be picked for sure, and if they have any questions, I'm sure they'll call (as they will for us if I've made a cock up!)

I think it's safer to stick to what you know is right.
So, don't include work while at college.
Only claim the 5 bonus points for SM16.20 Qualifications in an area of absolute skills shortage.
Yes eveyones right, edit away, just make sure you resubmit it.
Don't edit on selection day (remember the time difference).
Avoid anywhere near !
And pay for it soon in case the banks are down !

steve - I already paid. so no problem there. Only thing I would edit is to not try to claim the bonus for qualification in future growth area. But I'm kind of uncertain on that point.
