Teacher Training in NZ

Hello All,
My family and I are thinking seriously about immigrating to NZ :icon_lol:
My husband is an Engineer so it looks like he wont have a problem finding a job. Im currently studying for an English Degree with a view to teach.
Im wondering if my teacher training qualification would hold more weight if I did it in NZ rather than here.
Are there any goverment incentives to do it there? (Here I would get a ?6000 bursary)
Would I stand much change of getting a job if I did my teacher taining here(PGCE) but had no teaching experience?
We'd like to start the ball rolling as soon as possible you see.

Yep, you can. I know of people who are teaching here, (one teaching french and english), from england who did that.

BTW if you train here you have to PAY $3000NZ :)
