I was so pleased to see your new message.I am sponsoring my husband under the partnership policy.We are just waiting for the police checks to be returned then we have everything gathered together to send.Id love it to only take one month!!! are you sure, we expected at least five but Ill believe you :) Is the Migrant Levy the stamp that would go into my husbands Britsh passport.We have to send his passport along with everything else asked for.We have only to send the fee of 460.00 as far as I can see.When would we pay the migrant levy,will it be a case of they let us know hes been accepted and we have to forward the fee to have the stamped passport returnedperhaps. :o

I was told that the quickest that the girl I saw yesterday had known the application to go through was 1 month. This was obviously a clear cut case (of which I'd like to think my wife and I were one).

Yes, you will have to pay the Migrant Levy when asked to present your (husbands) passport for the stamp.

If you get a certified copy of your husband's passport you won't have to send the original (just incase you thought you did). But I guess if they already have the passport the way you suggest getting the stamp would seem logical.
