Medical checks and x-rays

Anyone have any idea how much these cost? The medical form seems fairly extensive and if it's x 4 for the family it could get quite costly. :?:

Just had mine done - ?145!! :(

I went to a private clininc which was able to do both the X-ray & the medical (thought it would cut done on 'things getting lost in the post').

I think your best bet would be to have a look on the NZ immigration website and get the list of Doctors / Radiographers in your area and hunt round for the best price.

Also, is it only the Police check form that is required for everyone over 17 - or the medical too? Worth checking up.

I looked at the medical report and it must cover children cos it says things like - urine sample only for children over 5 etc.

Mostly each part took no more than 30mins,not a bad rate per hour and we had to get them to correct stuff after theyd ticked the wrong boxes.

X rays at our local hospital ?65 each but can take upto 2 hours as they write the results up for you there and then, I am still waiting for the Dr to come back for the medical price.

Found their details on the NZIS panel of doctors, took me ages to fathom, maybe I should of read the instructions first lol.
