work visa confusion
Can anyone help??
I want to go to NZ with the wife and kids for a couple of years to work, and maybe settle. I have read that, to qualify for a work visa, i first need a written offer of employment. is this correct? Sound difficult to acheive to me as i am still in UK. Is the work visa the right one to go for in my situation? all advice appreciated, David. | |||

Hi Dave,
You need an offer of employment to qualify for a work permit. No job, no permit! Most people are taking the option of going on a holiday to find work, then applying for a work permit in New Zealand when they secure employment. | |||
