    Default currency deals

I suppose you cant win all the time!!

Having my PR and sold our last foothold of a house in UK over the past few months the NZ dollar is still so strong against the pound.

How long before the pound gets stronger again I wonder so we can buy more currency...
    Soon I hope .....

I read today that the NZ dollar had dropped dramatically, but that was against the US$. When I went to check on the currency converter to see the effect, if any, on the GBP it still looked pretty sick, likewise the Omani rial .

Dollar outlook:Kiwi may fall this week

Those heady days of 2.8 and 2.9 seem a dim and distant memory. Makes me think it would be a good time to sell up and move back the other way.......

    Default whats happening!

    Its just not cricket.

Pound and NZ$ gets down to 2.36 the kiwi highest since 1993 according to HIFX.
And guess who wants to buy some kiwi dollars for another house...

Sometimes it just doesnt go your way..but the upside being able to buy a few properties in Dunedin for price of a normal house in Uk.

Default a bitter pill to swallow

but this week I have to buy at the lowest exchange rate for years....sob.
Yes, it is 2.34 currently when I first arrived I got 3.02.

But, on the bright side where else can you buy another house for 250k uk pounds.

Its deal time with HIFX and too early or too late could cost me $10knzd..

    fun eh!
