Would like to know how to get in touch with recruitment agencies in Hamilton area as well as more info on test required to be written by electricians before being allowed to work.

Move to NZ has its own on-board immigration and recruitment consultants who are based in Hamilton. You can access their site from here .

I don't know if you can find an answer to your electrician's test query in here but there should be some useful information for you if you haven't already come across it.
