Default Submitted and selected!

I submitted my EOI and was selected on the 21 of May

And when I looked on the main immigration website, it was told that it would only take 10 working days to verify the information in the EOI. But, as I am from South Africa, our EOI was forwarded to the London branch, and it said that without a job offer, it can take up to 3 months to verify.

Is this true? has anyone else experienced it to take so long?

Any info on this would be great :)

The EOI's get processed at diferent times depending on how many points and job offers ect.

Those with more points or a job offer get priority and yes they can quite easily take 3 months.

What usually happens is that INZ takes those with the most points and job offers first, then those with less points afterwards. As Beth says above, with 125 points you are in with a good chance but don't expect an answer too quickly.

As MB said - don't expect a reply all too soon. In any immigration process, be it NZ or any other country, expect two things:

1. Exercise patience... lots of it. If you're running short, go get some more! :)
2. If all is done as requested, you turn will come up eventually, its almost inevitable.

Processing times, etc. will vary, not just becuase of the points you score, but more importantly the information you have supplied and how long it takes to decipher, validate and process it.
