Default Whats after EOI

On February 14/02/2008 i received a confirmation letter that my EOI was selected from the pool and i received 110 points.
My EOI has been forwarded to Christchurch branch for consideration .

After that till date i never received anything. what shall i do now...wait for further reply or shall i query with them.

Your EOI has been selected - they will then begin checking that the points you claimed for are right and if they are happy with it you will get 'decision successful'. After this you will be sent your ITA but with the points you have this may take a little while. Yoi could speed things up by getting a job offer and letting them know as those with job offers are fast tracked through. You will need to be patient - at least for now. Look at the time lines for others and you can see the difference in processing times varies from person to person. Good luck

Usually EOI's take 10 business days from being drawn to confirming whether or not you will be invited to apply (depending on INZ workload). If you've been waiting since Feb then I'd highly recommend contacting them as EOIs expire after 3 months.

I thought EOIs were valid for 6 months?

Ahh yes, you are correct! It used to only be 3 months You've still got some time then!
