Default Help me please, thank you in advanced EOI, SMC?
I'm and IT network admin has 8 year work experience. But I only got Diploma and Microsoft Certified Profesional cert. Can I apply for the SMC? Or do i got a chance to have job in NZ?

Hi,

8 years experience in that field is good enough to get a job, and will entitle you to apply under the SMC. As long as you score enough points, you stand a good chance!

Cool, and one more question. Do I apply myself or by agent, but i think the agent is extremely expensive.

That's entirely up to you. Most people are able to go through the process themselves, some people feel more comfortable using an agent. There's certainly no big secret to the process so you can go it alone if you wish!

I'm at Te puke, NZ right now as WHS. is that ok to apply for SMC now?

If you are certain you meet all other criteria to be eligible to apply for permanent residency, then it's up to you if you want to apply now. I'm not really in a position to say either way I'm afraid!
