Default How long to apply after EOI is sucessful?

Hello,

I'm waddling through lots of information and immi and I cant seem to find how long after your EOI has been approved do you have to submit your forms for your ITA?

I am sure I had found info yonks ago and knew the answer but cant seem to find it now.

If anyone can tell me that would be great!

Just answered my own question

Found this in the immi site

1. Timeframes for submitting the application

Please note that you must submit your application within four months of us sending the Invitation to Apply to you. As such we suggest you start collating this information as soon as possible as it can take some time to obtain police certificates and book medical appointments.

In most cases an NZQA assessment will take between 2-3 months and you should consider this timeframe. Please note that a Police certificate for the UK or the US generally takes around 40 days to obtain and it is advisable to apply for Police certificates when you first receive your ITA.

If this is not going to be possible to lodge a complete application within the 4 months please contact us (see below).

The 4 months is from the date of the ITA, which is going to give you more time from the date you actually learn your EOI was successful. Nonetheless the 4 months goes fast, with full assessment being the longest delay in my experience.

I submitted Jan 29 and have still not received the assessment though I am told it is imminent. Luckily we waited on the doctor visits as they expire after 3 months. If we had dived in on those right off, we might have needed to go again - what a nightmare.
