Police checks

Looking ahead, which is all I can do at the moment ?:(, I was browsing through my local constabulary site on the Net, as that is where I would have to apply for my police certificate when the time comes. ?There was an application form to fill in and it threw up the following question. ?

I couldn't make out whether I would have to put ALL my previous addresses in the UK or only the last one before I went to live abroad. ?If I do have to put previous addresses, how far back would I have to go? Not all police authorities' online application forms hint that you should put previous addresses. ?

Hubster is from Scotland and has also lived a short time in Wales so I take it he would need certificates from both?

hey, Yeah I think I read somewhere that you need a police check from everywhere you have lived (for a period of 12 mths or more) in the last 10 years. sucks dont it I live in Holland an the mo and the police arn't so helpful with this stuff.

Ive no idea about how far back to go for addresses but In the UK most address questions on forms like that say just insert your current address if you have been there for 3 years or more and if not put in your previous addresses covering up to 3 years ago and state how long you where there for. hope that does it for ya :)

Thanks. I think I'll just put the last two addresses as I lived at the last one for a year and the previous one for many years, so that'll have to do them. :D
