Partner Qualifications

Hi All - My wife is a licensed cosmetologist in the state of Colorado and has a diploma from the school she attended for 3 years after high school. She also has her state license, which was only obtained after a state exam.

Can I get 10 bonus points on my EOI for her trade diploma? Some of the other bonus points in that category relate to NZQA and and growth cluster areas. Her's doesn't relate to that, but it is a diploma as described in the Qualifications section.

Anyone know?

I understand that Cosmetologist is dealing with comestics. I am not sure if you can get the 10 bonus points but it is worthwhile to submit the EOI and check with NZIS.

For clarification, a cosmetologist license is training in hair cutting and styling techniques, including coloring, waxing, etc. Mostly what you find at upscale salons and beauty parlors. She is also licensed but not practiced in manicure fingernail treatments, facial treatments, and pedicures. If I get a job offer and 10 points for her secondary education qualifications I have 145 points!
