Haven't seen this mentioned here. Seems that some were drawn from the pool with 140 automatically and some with 115 with job offers.

Think I've understood it correctly.

Default 1st Feb selection - Under the new rules.
The new rules mean that if you submit an EOI with 140 or more points you will automatically be selected and given an ITA

If you have less than 140 points, but have a job offer you will also be selected from the pool

If you have less that 140 points and no job offer, you might possibly be selected from the pool, but your chances are not so good

I read a report somewhere that the applicants who were drawn from this "intake" if you will, more than 50% of them have job offers. I wonder how many percent of those selected >140 points applicants are inshore (already in NZ). That will be interesting..
