job offers and EOI

If the primary applicant on the EOI has a job offer does he/she have to stick to that all the way through the application process, or can they keep looking and change the job?

What happens if they have the offer for a job outwith the Auckland area but then later accept a job within the Auckland area?
Obviously they then have less points so I wondered if that might be a no no..

The job's in question will be in the same field...

If you want to change the job in the middle of your application, just let your case officer know, and they will re-assess the application and adjust the points accordingly. This will obviously delay your application, but is OK to do.
