Not had regular internet access for a while but just seen this post... thank you for the birthday messages... it was my 30th so felt particularly momentous... On the big day I was walking the Milford Track (well kind of as I was nannying and I only ended up walking one day and helicoptering the other days as the kids are too young to walk it) but it was a lovely day and made special by the family, kids and people that I was walking with My first birthday in New Zealand and hopefully not my last...!!!

Unfortunately the snow was all gone for my birthday, although I am now making up for it here in Utah where it hasn't stopped snowing since I arrived a few days ago and there has been 38 inches in the last 3 days... crazy!!!
