    to Welshgirl.

Have a wonderful day, even if Taffy is incarcerated somewhere deep inside a rogue sheep and can't celebrate with you. All the more cake for you! For those who don't know what I'm on about, read Dawn's latest blog.

Hippity happity birthday, WG. Did you forward a piece of cake to Taffy via the sheep paddock?

We had a sushi party for you last night. We knew you couldn't come, so we figured fish was an acceptable food.

Thanks for your lovely wishes everyone

I had a quiet day but the sun shone and life is good I had some lovely flowers and chocolates from Taff and he took me for a meal in the evening with our daughter - one complaint though: this was my first ever birthday without a piece of birthday cake in sight

Anyway, was nice to relax and celebrate my 27th (again..... ) I'm off to the UK for a few weeks next week, so may not be around much, depends on internet access.

    Thanks again for your messages

I think I must have the dubious 'honour' of being the only active member not to have had their birthday mentioned on here . Perhaps bears aren't considered as having birthdays?

He's still as original as ever. When he lived at home I always had chocolates (if I got anything) and he and his brother dedicated themselves to ensuring I never had to struggle through them on my own.

Glad you had a good day WG and even the sun had the good grace to shine for you .

Well criminy. We've missed yours by a bit more than a month, MB I rarely think to check people's profiles for such info.

You don't need to Selchie. Members' birthday alerts are shown at the very bottom of the main menu page as they crop up. We're very organised on here, you know .

I didn't see your birthday alert on here MB? Have you put your birth date in your profile? Other than that, I just missed it
