    Default What to pack?

    Hi guys,

Steve and I are coming over to NZ on 5 July for just over 2 weeks in order for Steve to attend interviews and to explore what we can of the north island. It may be summer here in the UK but we know its winter out there. Can anyone advise on the weather in the Auckland area- is it warm enough still for t-shirts or should we pack jumpers?

    Any advice would be welcome.

    Many thanks

    Elaine and Steve

    Jumpers would be recommended.

Auckland's climate is fairly mild and could give way to some pleasantly warm days as well as cooler ones. It could be chilly-ish early mornings and in the evenings so, for comfort's sake, I would pack with layers in mind i.e. warm top layer and thinner layers underneath. If you're too warm you take a layer or two off and if you're cool you put your warmer layers back on. And a rain jacket..... just in case.
