    Question plugs

is it pretty straight forward to change the plugs from our UK appliances when they come?
We have about 4 adaptors, but feel they are not what you want to be using for big items, like my fridge feezer / lawn mower etc
    cheers

    Hi M,

Kiwi plugs are a doddle to wire. Blue wire to N. Brown to A. Yellow/Green to E. No fuse to worry about. Most plugs here come in packaging with easy to follow instructions on the back. They usually show how long to cut the wires and how much copper to strip...

We must have changed over 100 plugs in th elast two years and I still keep finding thing sin boxes that need a kiwi plug!

I had a UK four-gang extension on the back of out tv unit so I could plug in the tv, dvd, vcr and sky. I've kept that, just put a kiwi plug on the end of the cable so I can plug in it to the wall socket. Did the same for my computer tower, monitor, speakers and printers.
