Well thats a lesson learned

Taff, I'm with you man The kids are much more immature here than at home. They have very young outlooks. AND the alcohol thing is an issue I think. Most kids from 14 up just live for Friday nights when the drinking starts. The kids don't go out drinking here,not like in the UK, so you don't get the problems on the streets. They go round to a friends house and all drink there instead but they are still drinking. Lauren says that there are a lot of fights and she's even witnessed a couple of stabbings, a guy getting his head slashed open with a glass and a couple of all in gang battles and tis is all at parties here in nice old Hamilton and with parents present on the premises!! Apparently, once someone knows there's a party, the texts start flowing and then everyone just gate crashes - not fun!!

My 12 year old was always very mature. People used to comment that he was more like 13 or 14 but since he;s been hanging out with 12 yr old kiwis he acts about 6. Our 6 year old however acts about 12 so we're all square there
