Sounds about right - the 'ignore it and it'll go away' theory. Did she even ask you how you got on in NZ and what you thought of it?

Hey Lou.

It's about 60km and about an hours drive into centre of Welli so obviously less if you were to go by train which would also be cheaper than paying for parking in Welli.

Thanks Beth ... we'll just have to start calling you "Lamby" soon .. but watch out for Jon!!

MB - Nope, she didn't even ask about my trip, if I'd got the job or anything. I made a few attempts, by telling her about the house details we'd brought back, the weather .... and the conversation just went dead.

Good luck Lou! I have a feeling this is THE ONE. Welly is our ideal place and hope we will be as lucky.

It sounds like your mum is pouting. It's better than having her rant, I'll wager. Just don't let it get to you.

A wee update ... I spoke to the researcher from this program, and Jon and I have to do a screen test!

As we are soo far away from their offices, she's suggested that we film our own .. so this weekend, we'll be film making a very short 5 min film about us :-)

Quite exciting isn't it?

Not expecting to get any further with this, but it's kinda like buying that lottery ticket - most of the fun comes from imagining the outcome.

I like your thinking Dawn, how could we not be chosen if I do something like that!

I can't see this whole thing going much further to be honest. They will have trouble understading my yocal Dorset accent.

I can't wait to hear it in person love. Even if you do end up in Welli, you gotta cum see what you missin first Anyway, I had plans for thee n me to tek a little gig out on the road. Lou can come to and yoga to our music or play her flute of course We can flute duet Actually, not sure if that'll be such a crowd pleaser. Playing the flute whilst in yoga positions that could be a goer
