Now that's a good idea! I've told Mrs K many times that we need a stand up urinal in our 'downstairs loo'. Those of you with small boys (and some of you with big ones too) will know that we, I mean they, sometimes have trouble hitting the target.

(And before KH tells you I'm going mad, I know we live in a single storey house. I mean the loo that would be downstairs if we had an upstairs!?!).

Socks & dishes - I'd nearly forgotten those. I hate it when the plates are cleared from the table, taken in the kitchen and just dumped on the tops. Every single bit of work surface is covered with a dirty plate or cup etc... It takes a couple of minutes (or less) to stack them by the sink and then the I have space to move in my kitchen. My kitchen is about 6' x 7' and has limited work surfaces anyway.

Socks - I am very sad in that when I hang them to dry they have to hang in pairs and all the right way. I get so annoyed when - as Beth pointed out - they get put in the washing basket inside out. Grrrrrrrrrr

I hang in pairs, too, but I think that's just a logical thing to do. Much better to have them together so, when you take them off the line, they are ready in their pairs and you don't have to go hunting for odd socks amongst the rest of the laundry.

Why is that? Boys/men have the perfect apparatus for aiming and yet it still goes all over the place.

And God girls and Koko gerra life, as long as things are done it doesn't matter how they're done. You know challenging yourselves to so things differently i.e. changing your routine actually helps you to be able to cope with changes better and become more adaptable and tolerant and less stressed when life throws it's little curve balls!!

Oh, I hope that hasn't killed this thread. I enjoy knowing that I'm not a freak. Even if we are saddos, we're all saddos together and there's some comfort in that.

And why is that when the man of the household loads the dishwasher, the woman of the house always insists on re-loading it?

I am SO with you on that one KP. Do you also get the complementary huff and mumblings of 'may as well have done it myself'?
