Okay, it's that time of year. Nominations please for the Best of 2007. I'll start the ball rolling.

Best LP or CD

The Good, The Bad and The Queen by Damon Albarn, Paul Simonon, Simon Tong and Tony Allen. As good as real music gets and so much more rewarding than manufactured parc from wannabe reality tv stars.

I'm going to have to go with Bruce Springsteen's Magic. Although, I think I'd also have to throw in Year Zero by NIN as a strong second.

I'd like to be able to say that the new Foo Fighters or Eddie Vedder's solo album are better, but they're not. Bruce was clearly on top this year.

I'll probably download your choice from iTunes tonight ... not sure how I missed that one.

BTW, Koko, are you familiar with this duo, Rodrigo y Gabriella?

Best Movie of 2007

I think I've only seen 3 movies that were release this year ... maybe four. But I'm going to go with ...

The Simpsons Movie ...

Which, incidentally, was one of the best reviewed films of the year.

I really do need to get out more, though.

Being a fan of comedy...I liked Tenecious D the pick of dystany..movie.....S.Colbert "I am America(so can you)"..book.. I havent got to read this yet(X-mas gift) but I have a feeeling it will soar with laughter...and music....well this is my little secret and probably not respected, but the Danish devil himself rocking still at the age of retirement King Diamond "give me your soul".... 2007 was a great year for me personally
