For those of you that are on Facebook.......

I have took it upon myself to make a group called movetoNZ for all the forum members that are on there.

It has been set up as a closed group wich means you need to be invited or have your join request approved- Taffy is now an admin member so he will be able to do this seen as I don't know as many of you.(we don't want just anybody joining our group now do we)

Hope to see you all on there.

That sounds like a fab idea. Lets hope Taffy can get round to inviting us all pretty soon.

Hi,

I don't want to be a party pooper but I am going to avoid showing any info on my Facebook that refers to moving to NZ. I need to see how I can adjust my settings s that only my MovetoNZ friends see this informatin.

Sorry, but I can't let my job know what my plans are until it is time for me to give official notice. I still have salary increases and bonus payments coming up and this news would cause problems for me. They know I want might want to move in a "few" years but for now I don't want to be treated badly by my boss.

Thanks and welcome friends to my Facebook. I must say that the current news that our information will show up on Google searches etc., has me a bit worried so I may be making changes to my security settings.

Hi Shell.

That's very wise about work.
I think you can hide your groups etc on your profile- you will have to have a mess with them.

As regards to the google thing there is a box to check/uncheck in security settings as to wheather or not you want outside searches to find you.
