Is it a Newfie? We looked into getting one but we would have had to have got a bigger house to fit the dog. Mind you, are Golden at 6 months is already as big as most full grown ones!

Yeah he's a Newf. He's a contradiction really coz although he's so big he doesn't get in the way indoors, he just lies down out of the way usually by the back door where it's cool. I've fallen over him a time or two in the dark though.

When he wants to play you've had it though. He's still got that exuberant puppy streak at 22 months. I've heard they calm down when they're about 5! He prefers lots of space outdoors and will happily lie outside all day if it's raining. Then he comes in and rubs it all up the walls. Oh the joys!!

Ebianca he gets an all in one organic food coz Newfies are prone to getting skin conditions that are notroiously expensive to clear up!

In answer to your original question Banjo.Jon I have also recently signed up to facebook and am thinking about using it to share my travel blogs to people back home when I start my travels (particularly as I think from memory it says you can upload unlimited photos)... am not familiar with myspace but for me facebook is very similar to friendsreunited as I have linked up with loads of old friends already through the site... The site isn't working at the moment (maintenance or something) but will look you both up when it's back up and running

Dawn: Poppy and your gentle giant look adorable... I am not usually a big fan of dogs, (having been bitten by one a few years ago) but although usually bigger usually means scarier in my head somehow your dog doesn't quite seem to fit that image...!!!

Hugo hasn't got a bite in him. He's like a benign walking rug!

Jon, those "bubblebath" photos are great! Adorable little ones all around.

Dawn, I love the middle photo, with Bear and Poppy gazing so sweetly at each other. Have you saddled up Bear, and let Poppy ride?

No Jon, I haven't tried Facebook, or Myspace either. All I've done is post a few photo albums on Picassa, and so far there isn't much. I don't know many people who would check it out, and make it worth my while.
