Default Old passports?

This may be a boring question - we have just had our new passports back and I was wondering - what do you do with your old ones? You can't just throw them away because of the risk of identity fraud so what should you do with them?

This may be a boring answer but we keep all ours. Our case may be a bit different as we hop from country to country every now and then, so the passports serve as a reminder of when we were in particular countries. It's nice to look back on all the different stamps, too, and reminisce, sad people that we are.

I can't see anything that says you have to hang onto old passports, but if you want to get rid of them you could always burn them for safety's sake.

I'm with MB on both counts. My old passports are part of my souvenirs from traveling.
