Default Sunny Nelson - not last wednesday!
As most of you know, Nelson has one of the best climates in NZ. Except on Wednesday 100mm of rain fall in just over an hour. The stormwater system couldnt cope and water was boiling up out of the drains. The kids thought it was so cool to see ducks swimming accross the road in front of our car.

Some guy in Taranaki lost his BMW in floods up there - but found it again washed up on a beach

True to form, the sun was back out just after lunch!

Other than that, we are still doing great - converting half the garage to a sleepout now the fishing seasons not so good. Jacky has got on a post-grad nursing scheme with nelson & marlborough DHB. Shes settled into that well. Kids have a better social life than us now - they are loving it.

Guess i should really post more often too. Sorry
