Adopt me: Super-sized white rabbit
Tuesday January 02, 2007
By Lauren Bartlett

Every summer the SPCA receives many abandoned pets desperately needing a home. You can help by responding to this daily column.

This super-sized New Zealand white rabbit would be a magical addition to any household. Animal attendant Bronwen Cleugh describes her as "a big girl with a big personality".

The rabbit was brought into the SPCA as a stray but Ms Cleugh thinks she was once a pet because of her affectionate nature. "She's like a cat. She'll follow you and put her paws up on you."

Ms Cleugh said the rabbit's size made people think she would be hard for kids to handle, but she was easy to look after because she was so docile.

To adopt this bunny or another animal in need, contact your local SPCA. The rabbit's Village ID is: 103864.

Default Re: Bunny, anyone?

Daughter would love it! :)

Her first one died at 9 months, the second one she had to give away as you are not allowed to bring rabbits into the country. Would be nice to have a rabbit that did not kick when handled too.

Something to think about when we have our own house.

:)
