I can see there's one less after they've moved, but still can't figure out why. Thought maybe one might superimpose itself over another one, thereby hiding it, but haven't spotted that happening yet. Must study it further.

I think I see part of it... Keep your eye on the left-most fellow. When things shift, the very top of his head moves, and is not replaced. At least one of the men loses the bottom of his shoes, too. One cluster of moved fellows always makes four. The other goes from eight to seven. I am just not fast enough to figure out how it happens.

Nope. I cannot work it out. Obviously a visual illusion.

Did notice those 'men' look like the 'traditional' Kiwi man. Refering to the 'man drought' thread, no wonder Kiwi women are said to be too picky! ::) ;D

It's something to do with the row second from the left. The other ones always have the same number of bodies, but that one either has two men or three, which is where the extra guy comes in. Having gone boggle-eyed, I still can't work out where that spare guy goes to. :o
