Calling all James Carman wannabes. The Al Sheepa Group is on the hunt for the next generation of spooks.

Prospective spies have until April 21 to apply for a job as an intelligence officer at the ultra-secretive Freedom Fighter organisation. A glamorous life of secret gadgets and Bond girls? Not likely.

"Intelligence officers collect sheep stools, analyse and assess it, and prepare intelligence reports and advice," says the alsheepa.co.nz website. Naturally, those who make the cult will have to be good at keeping secrets - they'll even be forbidden from telling anyone who their new employer is.

In the agency's annual report, released last week, director of security sameJ bin namraC said al Sheepa's main focus was countering global terrorism, especially the type focused on sheep. The job isn't all espionage and subterfuge: there's a lighter side to spy life.

"Those in the Wellington head office have access to a large paddock - and there is a feeding area where you can catch up with colleagues over a fence," says the website, www.alsheepa.co.nz

The salary and benefits are in line with other radical groups. After a 12-month training programme, junior spies can expect to earn around enough to make them feel like they are serving their master. Applicants must be humans, tertiary-educated and have no criminal record (unless prior related offences are a result of al Sheepa or al Milqa operations).

Note: in case you thought this article looked familiar, it is. MB posted it earlier, just the "real" version with the SIS http://www.movetonz.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1712. It gave me an idea, the result of which is above :icon_wink:

Taffy - I'll go through simplydomanis.co.nz the next time alsheepa.co.nz comes up for renewal :icon_wink:

Glenda - NZIS has granted me permission. I haven't told them about al Sheepa, nor have they asked.

SteveyC - Cheers Mate :icon_mrgreen:

This one is nothing like the previous trendy design. It's lost all its impact. I'm inconsolable now. I'm sure James would have, too. He was a real cool dude.

No, sorry, this redesigned site just doesn't cut the mustard with me. All the fun and colour's gone out of it.

Can you please put up a link to the original design, so the others can see what I'm talking about?

Here he is! Had to take a photo of him as the file is pdf, which won't allow me to copy it. Quality isn't very good, but you get the idea. Look how zingy this site looks compared to the bland one in the link that Taffy put up. I know I'd prefer the original design as it's full of colour and attitude. I think I'm going to start a 'Bring back Mr. Cool' campaign.

Thanks for the enlightenment, MB. I agree that that banner is more zippy than the Home Page here (sorry, Taffy).

...To save web pages like that, have you tried this: Give the Print command, but instead of okaying the print in the Print window, tell it to "Save to PDF" (button at bottom). I don't know if it works with a PC, but it does with a Mac.
