Default Mother s Day Poem - scribed by me!

jus thought I'd stick this in here for fun, I just wrote it for my mummy for 2moro. Let me explain, I was their first daughter after 4 boys and I also lost my dad when I was only 18 after very many stormy years of polar opinions and having never really got to know him at all. His birthday is two days after mine.

Hope you enjoy :icon_biggrin:

My mummy, my mummy, I grew in your tummy
I grew some arms and some legs and some eyes
I wasn?t too big and I wasn?t too small
In fact I was just the right size
When I was born the sun was awaking
And your body was laboured and tired and aching
You held me close, looked down and smiled
For you knew you were holding a special child
A child who would bring you infinite joy
?And thank Jesus? you thought, ?it isn?t a boy?
You kissed me and brushed back my damp, black hair
And double checked there wasn?t a penis anywhere
Then you called my daddy, he came and he too
Was relieved not to discover a testicle or two
Then he took me and held me, looked into my eyes
And thought I was the loveliest birthday surprise
A little girl, feminine, sweet
Pretty, impressionable, retiring, petite??.
Well, it?s funny how sometimes (and this is one of life?s puns?)
Some daughters develop bigger balls than your sons
So sorry, I apologise! But it?s really quite funny
It?s because the tummy I grew in was your tummy mummy!

lmao johnty - that'll teach you to jump in head first lol.

Neat little poem Dawn, hope your mum appreciates it! I'm sure you were very special after 4 boys - I had a girl after 3 boys, so I know how she feels, although if my daughter had been my first child, she probably would have been my last :icon_eek:

I look forward to your next poetic creation :icon_mrgreen:
