CHAT ROOM

Does any1 ever go into this chat room or what? Everytime I go there thinking I can have a 'real-time' conversation with some1 there's never any1 there. Is it broke? Am I not doing it right? Or is it just that no1 wants to talk to me? I told you my user name was all boring fartish, I need to make it more attractive , windswept and interesting! Please let me know how I can change it and whether any1 goes in this chat room thing.

Surely you've seen the poll running on website enhancements. We're discussin it as we speak. Wade in with your suggestions, everyone else has. Personally I'm at work which means no chat rooms til evenings but I'd be happy to go in there then.

Being honest tho....as with other forums...the chat room is very underused.

But we do have one. It has been used but, I suspect, not for a while. It's currently under discussion in this category at the moment as to whether to get it up and running again. While no one's looking, I might just go and peek in through the door to see what it's like. If I'm not out in 10 mins. send in a search party, please. :icon_eek:

We also have a section called the coffee house where you can talk about what the hell you like and we often do. Julian obviously never goes there :icon_biggrin:

However many of us deviate a little from the rigidity of the forum categories so don't feel stressed about posting utter jibberish MB does it all the time (I'M JOKING OF COURSE). Helps keep it reference friendly if we do it in seperate threads tho as you've done so it's all good. Go vote in coffee house dammit, we need 2 more votes :icon_lol: :icon_biggrin: :icon_mrgreen: :icon_cool:

If the truth were known, soooo many people appear to be very diligent and industrious in work, whereas they are, in reality, rattling away on their keyboards chatting on forums most of the day. How to impress the bosses without really trying. Let's hope they don't bring this in as a deterrent [smilie=computer punch.gif].

I was referring to forums rather than chat rooms. It's surprising how many people belong to numerous forums covering a wide range of topics. I don't know how they cope with it all AND try to fit in a bit of work at the same time.

Well, I've been into the Chat Room and had a nose about, fiddled with a few buttons and got some idea of how it works. Nobody around so I slithered back out again, none the worse for the experience. \:D/
