To use an old cliche Stevey, if you were any more laid back you'd be horizontal.......

Chill pills are for people who need them :icon_biggrin:

Hadn't thought of that. I was just in spring cleaning mode. May I have the chill pill anyway?

Put me down for a wheelbarrow full, please. I could really use 'em right now. [img:f775f515c0]http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_13_16v.gif[/img:f775f515c0]

Hey ... none of you need those chill pills as much as moi ! :icon_wink:

I was just relating a couple of experiences in chat rooms, not trying to be scaremongering. Actually, they were more amusing than threatening. I am sure most of us here can get out of a tricky situation should it ever arise by logging off (unless they don't want to! :icon_eek: ).

Also agree that members who don't post should not be deregistered. I have reasonable typing skills but not everyone does (my 'insignificant other', for example, can take two hours to type a short email). Many of us who regularly write on forum have decided to, or have moved to NZ - I am pretty sure there are many who are undecided or have just started considering the idea, but will be joining in at some point. :039:

Y'all are right. Other than housekeeping, I also thought of the forums I signed up for so I could ask a question or post a comment, but haven't been back to in over a year. I hadn't thought of the folks who might just be silent members, and loving this site that way.

Gosh, the chat room has been quiet lately :icon_sad:

And after all that pestering from you peeps, poor old Taffy lovingly creates (and pays for) it and no-one wants to chat :icon_rolleyes:

All too busy preparing to leave for NZ or something?? :icon_wink:

I always seem to just miss someone in Chat. I log in and it's showing as 1 person in there, but when I go to see who's in there, there is no one, so must have missed them by a cat's whisker. Couple of times I've seen a stranger in there and hung back from going in.

Would add that I find it quite hard going on that site. Seems to take a long time for messages to come up and they end up all out of sequence when the other person is typing as well. Gets a bit garbled after a while. It's OK if the other person waits for you to answer, but some get fed up waiting or are just very keen to chat on and your messages get out of sync.

I often sign in and just sit there whilst I'm doing other stuff and I see other users are browsing but no one comes to talk to me :icon_frown: I change my socks and shower daily, what's the problem?

I miss Natty - he always used to talk to me - at the same time as watching Lost 2 on NZTV granted, but he talked to me all the same.

Moose...where are you? Miss you too :icon_frown:

I've sometimes seen someone in Chat when I've been having a last look at the forum for the night and am just off to bed. Always think 'Typical, just when I'm too shattered to chat to anyone' [smilie=sleeping.gif] . That's the trouble with time zones.

Hopefully, Natty should be back on broadband in a few weeks. Perhaps he'll still pop into Chat and make us all jealous with his exploits.
