CHAT ROOM

Don't worry about it Dawn, you're fine. People seem to throw the word "selfish" around when you don't do what they think you should. It seems to me that taking care of yourself, and your family, should be your first priority. After that, you can share your talents energies with others. People have only so much to give - some more than others, and all in so many different ways. I think selfishness is when you try to get others to do what you want, or take for yourself, without regard for anyone else's needs.

hehe knew you wouldn't judge, just thought you might be surprised as I'm not very stereotypical.

Selfish!!! that's out of order for someone to say that, specially a manager!! I'd have walked out there and then, self righteous git!!

Well I kinda got what he said, I understand where he's comin from. The young people we work with mean a lot to us, we make a differrence and I have known this guy bout 14 years. I dont think he was bein arsey jus makin a point. made me feel guilty tho coz wot i do means a lot to me.

Well, it does seem he values your work. It's always nice to know that you're appreciated.

Taffy, there's a problem (probably only me again :icon_rolleyes: ) where I'm having sessions in the Chat Room and my messages aren't being put up. I've just chatted to Moose and then typed 4 separate messages, but none of them came up. I had to come out and go back in by which time Moose had left. Poor soul, she's probably thinking I'm an ignorant moo for leaving her in the lurch. Does anyone else have these problems or am I going to be labelled a troublemaker again?

I think it has happened to me once, I had to enter the message twice before it came up. Othertimes they are a little slow appearing on screen but not overtly so.

Is this Chat Room open to anyone? That is 'non-members' as well as members?

Open to all and sundry at the moment, have to get it linked with the forum but haven't had the time... soon come!

I dunno, was the first moderator and I can't get freaking in!!! Natty and Moose are happily chatting and it won't recognise my username and/or password, tried to register and everything :icon_sad:
