Guilty as charged regarding being one of the rather silent ones lately. Sorry. Sometimes I think I've spewed out about all the useful info about NZ that I know. Am also feeling a bit lethargic as we float in NZIS limbo. Hopefully that will change soon, and I can jump and play Ms. Know-it-all once again.

Congrats, MB on your Moderatrixhood [smilie=Cheers.gif] . Play nicely, kids, or beware the wrath of Mom!

Thanks, Selchie. I was just thinking to myself yesterday - the more I'm learning about the immigration system, the less I feel I know. By that I mean my brain is getting so fuddled with taking all the information on board that the info is settling in there like a solid lump. If someone's going through the process themselves they can focus on their own situation, but with me going a different route to everyone else, I find I'm taking on board a lot of other people's situations, which can become quite confusing (at my age, anyway).

It sounds like you've got a bit of information indigestion, MB. I get like that sometimes, especially when I scan through a bunch of info.

So... though being a Moderatrix sounds rather nice, i miss seeing "Grand Almighty Kiwi", or some such title for you. Titles to strive for. ..."Hi, I'm Selchie, and I'm a Kiwi-holic" . :icon_biggrin:

I probably need a break both from foruming and nursing a very sick cat. Time for another trip to NZ (Huh, I wish! Dream on.)

Yes, Moderator is a bit 'ordinary'. Must admit I had a few pangs when my glorious title was taken off me. Taffy, can't I be a Grand Almighty Moderator instead? Would have to do something similar for Stevey though or he'll think I'm usurping him.

Yeah I thought that when my title changed. Moderator pah!!! Maybe it represents our humility :icon_mrgreen: Would prefer something grander I must admit. Egotist that I am.

Where else did you do your naughty little editing MB oh weak and feeble moderator!!

Ah ha I see it now, yeah the quotes kind of mashed it all up eh.

I guess we like some feel disappointed when we have no replies but we perpetuate the problem by not replying ourselves. Usually through lack of knowledge but just a sorry don't know but hang in there can be just as encouraging. And as for just asking questions to help ourselves, probably guilty as charged but as a bit of an outsider can be intimidating to just jump into mid thread and like Stevey said usually trying to sneak postings in whilst at work. Getting braver now tho. :icon_lol:

I do find the forum a great source of info and always use the search function as first port of call for questions.

One of the best things is to hear how those who have done it are getting n so please don't forget us still trying.

Bye for now :006:

There you go, how do you like your new titles MB & Stevey? As you're both members of the Moderator group, you both get the same name.

Hey, how can you feel intimidated by us! That is US we are talking about. ;)

I don't think anyone on this site bites, or even nibbles around the edges. We love newcomers! ( Fresh meat :D )
